Why Ownership Remains an Pivotal Issue in China’s Economy?

Traditional capitalism is about private ownership, while the Soviet socialism is about public ownership. Modern capitalism and democratic socialism are still for private ownership, meanwhile they take some useful measures learnt from public ownership as well. So we have this new term called hybrid ownership, with the purpose to absorb the advantages of both systems and mitigate the disadvantages.

The real value of capitalism is to keep creating and producing fortunes that can propagate the the progress of the society. Can we imagine a society that doesn’t create and produce fortunes? Well, before the birth of capitalism, human beings lived in societies that didn’t produce much fortunes or say didn’t encourage the creation of fortunes. What the societies produced back then could barely make the ends meet and that was it.

As the result, the whole old world often went through poverty and shortage, very vulnerable to the attacks of natural disasters and pandemic. It was capitalism which discovered and practiced the effective ways to lift the levels of our living continuously to the next level and brought our world into the modern times.

By the word capitalism, capital means money. Individuals, communities, countries as well the whole world, all need money to move things…
